GoGuardian just came out with a new integration with Google Classroom. Now, you can push assignments/quizzes/questions/materials posted in Google Classroom directly to your students all right within GoGuardian. Let me walk you through how this works.
Note: this option is only available for GoGuardian classes that are synced with Google Classroom. This option is not available for Clever synced GoGuardian classes.
First, select the students you want to push the assignments to in GoGuardian. You can do this by checking the box for them in GoGuardian or choosing an option from the Select Students dropdown menu. Once you have the students selected, head down to the bottom blue bar and choose Open new tab.
Once you click on the Open new tab button, you will now see a new option for Google Classroom.
Now, you will see a list of all your quizzes, assignments, materials, and questions posted in your Google Classroom. You can filter by what kind of resource you want to push to students with the checkboxes at the top of the window.
Choose the assignment/quiz/material/question you want to push out to your students by checking the box next to it. If there are attachments in that assignment/quiz/material/question, you will see the option to Open attachments at the bottom of the window. By checking this, the attachments will also open in a new tab along with the assignment page in Google Classroom on the student’s device.
Once you have everything set up the way you want, click the green Open Tabs button and the Google Classroom assignment/quiz/material/question and the attachments will automatically open on your students devices. This is a great way to not only ensure all of your students are exactly where they need to be, but will save time as well!
